OSTROVIT NATURAL VITAMIN C FROM ROSE HIPS is a dietary supplement in tablets containing extract of rose hips standardized for 70% of vitamin C.
Vitamin C seals and strengthens the blood vessels, which prevents the formation of bruises, haemorrhages, or bleeding gums. It also inhibits the oxidation of LDL cholesterol, thereby reducing the risk of pathological atherosclerotic lesions. Regular intake of vitamin C strengthens the immune system and reduces the risk of colds.
Vitamin C supplementation is especially important in athletes, athletes, or hard-working people, as vitamin C needs increase with heavy, long-lasting physical activity. In addition, increased demand for vitamin C occurs in the elderly, hypertension, smoking, exposure to long-term stress, and in pregnant and lactating women.
